Look. All this arguing can go on forever. But let me say this:

if you want to add your Experience Point Economy after skills
are installed you can.

It is even straightforward. Experience points are being collected anyway,
into whatever category.

All you need to do is make your guild or whatever and have it give the
player a way of changing one type of experience to another.

In order to control level of skill in this way, all you have to do
is have the guild do this, too, and remove the level-advancement
code from wherever b.t. et. all put it and put it under control of your
guilds.

But for chrissake, if you do this, please #ifdef it.

What b.t. has proposed is flexible enough to support everyone's dream.
I can easily modify his 6-skills system into my 4-skills system at my
own server. (Or his 2-skills system if he chooses to implement something
simple at the start. b.t., please take note and have your implementation
be flexible enough: editing the skill_arches should do most of the work
toward setting up whatever system.)

Let's take b.t.'s road for a while, since it is going the direction
that all of us seem to want to go.
