Why? Just save him, nothing more needed.

Tibia does it the same way as crossfire --- if you kill the client
the character is saved where he is standing. In fact there are no
beds to reality at all --- if you exit the client you are saved at
the current location.

Doesn't happen very often. Not saving characters frequently is worse,
since it forces players to save and reload frequently.

Of course this can always be added back into the server if it gets
removed, so it's not really a problem.
