Because Wounding is a path, not an attacktype. The attacktype of
Wounding spells is GodPower. I don't know that it makes much sense for a
cult to be vulnerable to GodPower. As I understand it, GodPower is supposed
to affect anyone, as opposed to Holy Effect which is devastating to that
god's enemies, but harmless to everyone else.

No, I don't think it would be much of a disadvantage at all, since it
would basically be a vulnerability to other priests. Aggressive priest
"Monsters" aren't very common, and certainly aren't something a low-level
character is worried about. And the bit about vuln: poison was from me,
David Noelle, not Peter Mardahl.

Gaea(Nature) is also vulnerable to fear, so there are already
duplicates. Mostrai(Dwarves) is another enemy of Gnarg and has no
vulnerabilities. Gorokh(Evil), Valriel(Good), and Sorig(Lightning) also
don't impose any vulnerabilities on their followers. Ruggilli(Fire) is
vulnerable to cold and Devourers(Undead) to fire.
Perhaps Lythander doesn't need a vulnerability. The priests already
have no power over undead (other than turn and command, which I intend to
change.) That is a weakness in itself, since undead are usually much more
powerful than living monsters of the same level. Designers tend to factor
in an assumption that undead are supposed to be more powerful, because
heroes have more powerful means of destroying them. Valriel and Gaea
certainly do. Many undead are vulnerable to Ruggilli's fire. Devourers and
Gorokh can just recruit them with Command Undead. The change to Turn Undead
and Command Undead will leave Lythander, Mostrai, Gnarg, and Sorig with no
particularly effective means of dealing with them.
