CF: Crossfire java win95/win98

Hi, we are several crossfire fans which have some problems with the java
version of crossfire downloaded from crossfire.real-time.com. We have also
downloaded the latest java versions 1.08 i think it is. The problem is that
we get connected to voldsboks.pvv.org everything looks fine voldsboks says
versions and welcome to crossfire but we can not type in anything... Have
any ideas or need more information?

We have tried it on latest win95 and win98.
the .bat file contains this line:
jre -cp d:\spill\crossfire\jcrossclient_beta.jar CFclient
