Bugs?



Hi,

Relatively new to the list, so please don't hit me if this has been
brought up before. :)

There seems to be something wrong with the code for some of the
traps. Speciffically, traps such as "poisoned needle", "blades",
"spikes" etc. Now, in theory a poisoned needle would require the player to
be within a reasonable range to be affected by the trap. So is not the
case.

There is one spell - the "destruction" spell - that causes damage to
creatures/objects in a X squares radius (can't remember how many). Now, if
you use that spell near a trapped door, you set off the trap. However, if
that trap is a needle or spikes trap, you will still take damage, even if
you cast the destruction spell several squares away from the door.

Unless extremely long spikes are used to make these traps, I can't quite
see how this makes sense...
