I would vote against removing the X11 code from the server in the near future.
There are some platforms out there, which don't have a running java system, or
don't even have the power to run such a big java client. I think,the java
client is a big improvement for crossfire, but it's not the solution for
all platforms.

Cleaning up the code is a worthy goal, and it's of high priority, if
someone (beside those currently working on it) will improve the code further.
(And it should happen before version 1.0)
And me too, I would like to see version 1.0 before I die :-( (I think I'm
older than Thomas :-))
