People on the is list was saying that their was no australian mirror.

mirror.aarnet.edu.au  is a Brisbane Basied site which the Australian
Network Organation (aarnet) has setup as the main australian mirror
for ALL major archives.  It is to try and reduce the costs for
downloads via overseas links.

I don't know how up to date it is but it is the australian mirror.
