For a drive that big I would suggest using a hpt366 or promise based pci
card controller that does Udma66. They seem to support any drive that you
can throw at them, and linux supports the controllers
I have a hpt366 running a udma33 drive just fine (10gb) on my box at home.
Otherwise, I dont know of any other reason why you cant do it. And I
think the size limitation is on ext2 fs, not linux itself.

Besides, where could any governmental logic have come from, anyway, when
people lived in the condition known as freedom -- than is, like beasts,
monkeys, cattle?
