IRQs again

Greet the sun all,

I have a modem that requires a set IRQ (I have been using #5). I just
performed my annual reinstall and now I am trying to get my modem to
work. I looked at my past post and found Tim Wilson's answer which is

setserial /dev/modem irq 5 spd_vhi

I created the rc.serial file within rc.d directory. Is the only other
thing I need to get this working is a symlink for /dev/modem to the COM3
tty? I last asked this question in August of 1998 and I don't know if
Red Hat changed where the rc.serial file needs to go.
