FYI, the 'good' way to do this is to run 'cp -a'.  It will keep
permissions, ownership, and it won't copy the files that symbolic links
point to.

BTW, the 'a' stands for Archive. (I think ;-)


On a sidenote..  It took me forever today to get ppp working..  I've
been on Ethernet at school..  Alas, I have come home to use my trusty
14.4.  PPP is _still_ a real #*(*% pain!!
