Not really.

Actually, Majordomo can restrict posts to subscribers only.

I am against helping spammers along by publicizing list members' addresses.
If vanilla-l gets spammed, Bob can add a regex to filter those messages or
even rename the list as a drastic measure.  If spammers get members' addresses,
every member would have to filter spam messages instead of just Bob.
It wouldn't affect me personally since I have a huge .procmailrc, but I'm
against the idea in principle.
