Hmm.  I'm beginning to notice that the client development teams aren't
pushing as hard as we are right now.  This is why I fixed Winsmack at
the server end ... it's been around for so long, and no new pre-built
versions of COW have appeared to fix it.  If they had, the old clients
could be removed from the metaserver key listing, and then the problem
would go away.

However there are lots of clueless players out there with WinCOW clients
that we might lose if we do that ... and since the current push is for
more players, I think we should pander to the broken clients.
