Re: (ASCEND) Death of the Incremental releases?

I don't expect 6.0 to be the answer to life and the universe myself, but I
do expect that if 6.0 (which outta be relatively soon) isn't stable, doesn't
fix a butload of bugs, etc, I'll be more than happy to reccomend that we get
rid of our ascends entirely. This half-assed code release project with more
bugs in every release, no quality control, lack of _USEFULL_ snmp support,
etc is just too tiring. Its a sad sad day when I look at the USR TC racks
sitting next to the Ascends and think to myself 'ya know.. I actually prefer
these damn things to the Ascends. At least they work'.

The basic concept here Ascend in case you haven't yet quite figured it out,
is this:

Pull your software engineer's heads out of their asses, show them where the
bugs are, tell them to fix those bugs. No more pretty little features, no
more this and no more that. Stop trying to please every Tom, Dick, and Harry
who wants his max to beep Jingle Bells when it reboots and just F*&^%ING FIX
IT.
