We generally see about 34-36K Flex connections from various local
Nynex lines. However, long distance connections attain rates at
around 46K-48K. We also connected through a channel bank right at
our CO and saw consistant 48K connections to our Max 4048 on CT1.
Again, you dial from anywhere else in the city and you get 34K.
Another interesting fact is that we see the exact same conditions
with our X2 chassis. I explained this to Ascend and was told that
this is a problem with inner city trunking and that a new revision
of Rockwell code will solve this problem in a few weeks. I'd be
interested if anyone else has this problem or knows anything more
about it.
