(ASCEND) Pipeline and ISDN phone

I am currently having a problem with a remote access application. I have a
Pipeline 25 Fx (S interface), and a AT&T ISDN 8520T Phone sharing a AT&T
Custom ISDN Multi Point Line. The Phone is configured with 1 SPID and DN,
and the Pipe is configured with the other. It appears the way the devices
are plugged into the NT-1 one of them takes over the D channel. If the
ISDN Phone is plugged in first, the link on the pipe shows 'M' and is
unstable it will drop the line either without notice or sometime after
the receiver is picked up, and loose the logical link. If the Pipe is
plugged in first, it comes up with Link 'D', if the Phone is then plugged
in it never synchs. Any ideas or suggestions theories?
