(ASCEND) ARA thru radius

Hi,
can anyone give me a hint where I can info's resources about ARA?
Problem is: I (Customer Support) have a customer who wants to
authenticate an ARA User thru Radius (Vers. 9701...something), the
profile looks like the following:

maxuser	password = "abcd"
	Framed Protocol = ARA,
	Ascend-Send-Secret = "abcd",
	Ascend-Route-IP = Route-IP-Yes,
	Ascend-Assign-Pool=1,
	Ascend-Idle-Limit=600

IP Pool is defined in the MAX (running 5.0ap4), Radius works fine with
PPP, MPP aso. 
If I configure a local Profile in the Max Connection Profiles the User
got Lan Session up, so I suppose the Mac is well configured, (I'm not
familiar with Apple Stuff, sorry).

The User uses MacOs D-7.0.1 and Personal ARA D-2.0.1 

Any clues?
