Oh yes, I forgot to rant about that in my previous message...

Windows app.  Don't think it even works on 3.1, but I could be wrong.  I
had to remove the other modems then install their drives for that modem
into Win95 before the install program would find the modem.

I can live with a DOS install program; just need to boot off a DOS
floppy.  Forcing it into such a silly Windows app is very annoying.
BTW, it looks like it is just ASCII S records being uploaded so I
was half tempted to extract the S record from the executable and
upload them manually but didn't really want to mess up the modem.

I have upgraded 0.519 modems no problem using their flash updater.
Doesn't mean it isn't broken though.
