I see the difference. I am using an incremental release, not a patch release.
In the incremental release there were new features added to support displaying
the different recv/xmit values.

For example, here is the "show users" - note the new field "Tx Data".

  max4k06%show users
I Session Line: Slot: Tx Rx Service Host User
O ID Chan Port Data Rate Type[mpID] Address Name
  I 244152154 1:17 9:1 64K 64K MPP[1] 192.168.36.129 disney
  O 244153430 1:1 9:6 56K 56K MPP[301] 192.168.3.1 pacific
  I 244152451 1:20 6:15 28800 28800 PPP 192.168.22.1 fever
  I 244155366 1:5 6:12 40000 26400 PPP 192.168.16.1 hydra

I am assuming you don't see this because patch releases are not supposed to
get "new features". I can tell you that the feature is in the code, just
not in the patch code.

RADIUS now reports modem transmission rate

A new RADIUS attribute Ascend-Xmit-Rate has been added to report the
transmit baud rate of digital modems. The currently existing
Ascend-Data-Rate attribute reports the receive baud rate.

No, the "Data Rate" in your "show users" command is basically the "Rx Rate",
the "upstream" speed. The old "show users" does not have a way to display
the two different rates.

Sorry for the confusion.
