Re: (ASCEND) ether configuration




Eh? I'm taking it you have your ethernet card in slot 1 and wish to read
in the profile it would be done as follows:

admin> read ip-int {{1 15 5}}

IP-INTERFACE/{ { shelf-1 slot-15 5 } 0 } read

admin> list
interface-address* = { { shelf-1 slot-15 5 } 0 }
ip-address = 10.11.64.11/24
netmask = 255.255.255.0
proxy-mode = Off
rip-mode = routing-send-only
route-filter = ""
rip2-use-multicast = yes
ospf = { no 0.0.0.0 normal 10 40 5 simple ascend0 1 16777215 type-1
c0:00:00:00+
multicast-allowed = yes
multicast-rate-limit = 100
admin> 


Of course if your's in in slot 1 then it would be 

read ip-int {{1 1 1}}

I don't know if this answers your question, It probably would help 
if you supplied the output of the show command
