(ASCEND) IP AND IPX as Radius-Profile?
We have this environment, but most of the settings are done on the
Pipeline.
A sample RADIUS entry:
pipe1 Password = "pipe1"
User-Service = Framed-User,
Framed-Protocol = MPP,
Framed-Address = 10.2.2.5,
Framed-Netmask = 255.255.255.252,
Ascend-Netware-timeout = 120
On the Pipeline, make sure Route=IP + IPX. In Ether Options, set the
frame type and IPX Enet # (using a unique IPX network number on your
entire network). Under IPX Options, set Dial Query = Yes if you want
it to bring up the link for a NetWare request, and set IPX Net # to
the IPX number the MAX is on.
On the MAX, you of course need to enable IPX and set the frame type
and IPX Enet #.

Hi Ascend-Users,
can someone pls. send me a radius-profile, where a pipeline connects
with ip and ipx a small client-only-network to a max?
The only way we got it working was with setting up rip between them...
Here is our config:
remote2 Password = "...."
User-Service = Framed-User,
Framed-Protocol = MPP,
Ascend-Route-IP = Route-IP-Yes,
Framed-Address = 192.168.135.9,
Framed-Netmask = 255.255.255.248,
Ascend-Metric = 2,
Ascend-Idle-Limit = 30,
Ascend-Route-IPX = Route-IPX-Yes,
Framed-IPX-Network = 11112222,
Ascend-IPX-Peer-Mode = IPX-Peer-Router
Thanks in advance
