I can remember when I used to forget to type "bi" at the FTP prompt to switch from Ascii to Binary. So, I check it blaming it on human error first (mine). Well, this is as far as I got. Would you believe it if I told you that I had this very same error almost a month ago? We called tech support then too and they didn't even know why it had happened. We actually had to revert back to 1.2 (at the time, it was 1.2Ap10, and we wanted to go to 1.3Ap2). So, we installed 1.2Ap12. Long story short, this wasn't the first time we asked about it. And both times the techs that we spoke to still didn't know. I can understand the first time saying he didn't know as the code was still new. But a month later, that's inexcusable. > 5 Use the Dircode and Fsck 1 commands to verify that the images are good. > If for any > reason the verification shows the files are not all okay or are of the > wrong release, format > the flash card with the Format 1 command and repeat from Step 4. I did that while waiting on hold for the ascend drone to find out from the Collective what he should do. Was Atif not linked to the Collective that day? ;) > Is this effectively the steps that you did take to get the code to load? Yes, it was, but via trial and error and waiting on hold for the drone to find out what we should do. -- Joseph Hickman Director of Network Operations josephh@psn.net / iconia@psn.net ++ Ascend Users Mailing List ++ To unsubscribe: send unsubscribe to ascend-users-request@bungi.com To get FAQ'd: <http://www.nealis.net/ascend/faq>

Follow-Ups:

Re: (ASCEND) Max TNT upgrade from 1.2ap12 to 1.3Ap6

From: Kevin Smith <kevin@ascend.com>

 References:

Re: (ASCEND) Max TNT upgrade from 1.2ap12 to 1.3Ap6

From: Kevin Smith <kevin@ascend.com>

Prev by Date: Re: (ASCEND) K56 and Chasis.

Next by Date: Re: (ASCEND) V110 and Eriksen Not Connecting

Prev by thread: Re: (ASCEND) Max TNT upgrade from 1.2ap12 to 1.3Ap6

Next by thread: Re: (ASCEND) Max TNT upgrade from 1.2ap12 to 1.3Ap6

Index(es):

Main

Thread
