Yes. It supports all versions within the guidelines of the release notes.

This is one of the "older" P50s (a relative term), so is not upgradeable to
a P75 as the "newer" ones are....

Dynamic IP is supported in 5.1A, which FAQ # do you refer to...so I can see
if it needs to be updated..?

Upgrade instructions are included in the release notes. If you have a TFTP
server available locally, it makes things much easier....or XMODEM via the
serial port. Let me know if you can't find and/or understand the instructions.

5.0A is available also on the FTP server:

ftp://ftp.ascend.com/pub/Software-Releases/Pipeline/Release-5.0A
