Re: (ASCEND) Authentication times
I have struggled with the W95 delay as well.
It used to take our customers 30-45 seconds to complete the
login.
Based on info supplied by this list, I now have our
W95 connects down to 1-3 seconds after modem nego.
Our Setup:
Radius Auth
Max 4004 with 56K flex. 5.0Ap20
PPP option VJ Comp = Yes
W95 DUN (latest) Server Types *only* TCP/IP
(If you set Enable software compression -- Add 20-30 seconds)
