Re: (ASCEND) Measuring MAX throughput with MRTG (fwd)

here is the config we use.

WorkDir: /www/mrtg
Interval: 5
Refresh: 300
WriteExpires: Yes

Options[^]: gauge, growright
YLegend[^]: Modems
ShortLegend[^]:
LegendI[^]:  Modems Busy
LegendO[^]:  Modems Total
Legend1[^]: Modems In Use
Legend2[^]: Modems Installed
Background[^]: #FFFFFF

ShortLegend[isdn]: modems
Target[isdn]: 1.3.6.1.4.1.529.10.5.0&1.3.6.1.4.1.529.4.24.0:COMM@DEV
MaxBytes[isdn]: 23
Title[isdn]: Usage For Ascend MAX (ISDN)
PageTop[isdn]: <H1>Dialin (ISDN) String Usage</H1>

change to
COMM your community name
DEV your device name (hostname or ip)
WordDir path to your web accessible directory.
MaxBytes	number of "modems" (lines, whatever) you have.

note that the second OID (529.4.24.0) might require that you upgrade to a
recent version of the ascend code. if you don't get anything back, or get
errors, this is likely the case.
