(ASCEND) radiusd

I have built this in the past (ascend radiusd) but as I am running an
old version, and I would like to listen on a none standard port, I got
the source from ftp.ascend.com/pub/Max/Software-Releases/Radiusd/Current
and dowloaded radius-980618.tar.gz + the dictionary.

I modified the Makefile for Solaris, and compiled. So far so good, no
probs. (I am running 2.6 + gcc)

When I run the new daemon it complains

Invalid type on line 410 of dictionary

This turns out to be the first reference to "abinary".

ATTRIBUTE  Ascend-Data-Filter              242     abinary

I have checked all the obvious, but...

What on earth am I doing wrong?
