Re: (ASCEND) TNT Carrier Class Switch?

I've been looking for something like this also, but 50,000 ports is one port
for every man, woman and child in the area we service. A price tag of
$1,187,000 dollars is a little out of the question as well.

Currently we are being fed off a little box with 16 DS1 ports that's hooked
into GTE's SS7 Network. I haven't seen it and don't know who makes it, but
something like that with a DS3 output would be great. We are looking to do
virtual colocation as a CLEC (already are a CLEC) and would be happy to get
rid of the bulk of phone company charges.
