(ASCEND) 3COM TC settings to support DBA on Pipeline 75

Has anyone out there found a way to get 3COM Total Control to use MPP or
BACP so a Pipeline 75 on the other end will support dynamic bandwidth
allocation (DBA)?

Our ISP has never heard of BACP and thinks his 3COM only supports MP, which
of course means no DBA for us on our end.  Unfortunately, we failed to ask
the question before we paid our money to change ISP.  Our old setup was
through a CISCO router on the ISP end, and BACP worked like it is supposed to.

Thanks for any advice or insight you may be able to provide.  It's too soon
to go shopping for another ISP.
