No. Sessions like you describe, that look like this:
O 0 N/A 0:0 N/A N/A PPP 209.104.88.114 Pmarathon
can be ignored.
Unfortunately the Max will sometimes think a user is logged in when they
aren't. For MPP sessions, this can force the max to treat a new call as
a second call on an existing session (and this fail). It can also cause
what you are seeing, I guess.
I'm not aware of any solution except to reboot.
There is a possible workaround, but I'm not sure if it works: in RADIUS,
add a User-Name = "xxx" parameter where "xxx" is something other than the
user's real username. This might make the Max use "xxx" as the username
instead of the real username and allow the new session.
