Re: (ASCEND) LT Winmodem Connection problem



If your customer is having problems with Portmasters as well as MAX, the
problem will lie at the customer site.
WinModems are very sensitive to other software loaded on the Client PC.
Check to see if anything was installed/upgraded on the customers machine
between the time they were OK, to the time they were having problems.
Any other phones of devices plugged into their phone line will also have a
bad effect on modem connections.
Lastly, check that the customers phone line is not faulty.
