Colors in terminal...
Ok, fellow Slack-fiends, and anyone else, I need some help. For the last month
or so, I've been wrestling with both mutt and vim, trying to get them to show
up in color in my xterm (Eterm, actually). Now, "ls --color" will display
things in color, and I've got slrn (using slang) using colors, but mutt and vim
both refuse... I've tried everything: messing with compile-time options,
changing env variables, using different terms (rxvt, xterm), tried what they
suggested in the Mutt FAQ, all for not. The weird thing is, this only seems
to happen in Slackware, AFAIK. I can compile mutt (and vim) with no options
to configure on a RedHat box, and the bloody colors work! Any other Slack users
run into this problem (and hopefully, fix it)?
