I can upgrade mine via the net with the command apt-get upgrade" (don't do
this on a 56k if you still need to use your box for surfing etc but it will
run as a cron job)

Which is nice as I don't need a CD or anything :-)

See and this is my problem with the statement "But with Linux there is no
customer suppport" and others like it. Man, how many people actually call MS
when IIS is busted or some such? IMO support for linux is better than anything
else and the doc availability is too!

Then there's the "Noone to sue" argument. Like anyone is gonna get money out
of MS (or other big corporations) because thier MS SQL server died. I once
heard that the EULA kept them safe from that (Not that I have read it)

There is no excuse for not using linux that I can see. THere are valid reasons
though, but no blanket excuses like the above.
