Yeah, I am still working with how to best to the RSA stuff. US crypto law make
it a wanker.
Can I get the ftp://ftp.risc.uni-linz.ac.at/pub/netrek/src/res-rsa2.tar.Z and
use inside a binary server or do I need to get the .crypt file, send mail to
the rsakeys@us.netrek.org and use that, cuz I am a US citizen?
What I'd like todo is check for the res-rsa2.tar.Z, if I find it unpack it and
configure the server to use it. No .crypt file or email for passwords to
decrypt.
If I don't find it, warn the user, tell them where to get it and proceed.
So, anyone want to write this up, who understands it and ask Tom to put it
into the FAQ?
Q. What is the deal with US crypto laws and the RSA stuff in the Vanilla
Server?
A. US crypto law sucks ....
