Note it's VERY common for Erols "Support" to invent answers as
desired. (This is the bottom-tier ones, NOT the folks we see
here.)  For example, they had a routing problem on a friend's
CIDR block. They categorically stated it was the customer's box.
Said customer manages an entire network security branch for Uncle
Sam, but his spouse [per their insistence] carted the box over.

THEN they insisted they could not look at it since she'd left the
modem home...and everyone knows the modem affects how packets are
routed. [As Dave Barry sez "I'm NOT making this up..."]

After I chatted with folks who KNOW What's Up, the routing problem
was fixed and presto.....
