(ASCEND) Q. P75: Spoofing and Routing Voice to just one POT

(1) Is it possible for the P75 to route both ISDN phone numbers
to a single POT? (This scenario may apply if you don't want to
buy two fax/answering machines for each number and yet you
requried both numbers to have voice capability.)

Page B-3 of P75 User's Guide seemed to imply that one can receive
a voice call on either phone number when no B channel is currently
used. However, it didn't say how. (Somehow the answering machine
needs to pick up!) Right now, only one of the phone will ring
even though I have my "Phone Num Binding" set to NO. (I have to
assume this binding only applies to outgoing calls.)

I didn't see a A+B option in "Phone 1 Usage" though that would
seem the likely place.

BTW, Ameritech, uses Northtelecom DMS-100 as the ISDN switch.
I have a P75 with S/N 72xxxx.

(2) Is there a built-in spoofing tools in the P75?
Or is one available in NT server?

I've tried the filtering approach to cut down the dial-out
calls (see the thread on NetBios Filter or cannot HANGUP).
It cuts down the traffic a little bit but not entirely. It still
dials out occasionaly even I am not using the computer at all.

I would like to examine what programs/services are initiating
the sending of the packets for troubleshooting purposes.
Right now, I can only see the indicator lights blinking and telnet
session reporting the number of packets sent. I'd like to know
the origin perhaps but looking at its content.

Thank you very much.

Edwin
