Ascend has always set the bar in this business. They did it with the Max,
the TNT, and they will continue to be the leader. Ascend is so far ahead of
Livingston/Lucent, Cisco, Bay, et al that there is no chance of truly
catching up. Sure, the others slowly add on a few key features here and
there, but Ascend keeps raising the bar. But don't take my word for it, get
a copy of each vendor's latest users manual and compare feautures.

Users are smart. They keep looking for the best solution. And they keep
coming to Ascend.

No complacency here. It's a constant effort to stay ahead.

Talk is cheap. It will be a good while before we see if Lucent helps
Livingston or they bury Livingston.

Now, enough of this nonsense and tongue-wagging. :) Back to real technical
issues!
