(ASCEND) Max 4000 running 6.1.3 problems .... well everyone seems to be having them!

I recently upgraded my MAX to 6.1.3 (yes silly me!) and came across a very
interesting problem, over the weekend the MAX decided that it no longer liked
talking to people using ISDN. So it merrily answered all the analogue dialups
but never bothered given any of the ISDN (LANS + single dialups (with static
and dynamic IP addresses)) an IP address, so the devices at the other end hung
up.
Is this a variety of the IP address pool leak problem or something entirely
new? Of course the box had been running since Tuesday without problem and only
late on Friday night decided to start being silly.
A reset cures the problem and occurred before I checked the IP pool! >:^<
Any ideas?
